I love deviantart. It's a great source of inspiration for writing andwastingtime. I'm usually not particular about artists, but there's this one that just amazes me, and her name is Wenqing Yan, or better known as Yuumei. 

She's just kind of, y'know amazing. Her style is so versatile, yet there is a distinct brand that only she can produce that makes it recognizable.

And she creates these awesome comics that are so unique and focus on real world problems, like her comic Knite, which deals with pollution in China. It has such wonderful glow-y artwork, and storytelling, and character dynamics, and asdfghjkl.

You just need to read it, then you need to read her other stuff, then you need to be jealous because we'll never be as talented.

She also has this badass cyberpunk comic, Fisheye Placebo, about censorship and stuff. 

I think what I love most about her art is that each piece is filled with emotions. I've seen plenty of art that looked pretty, but had no emotion or message behind them. Yuumei's work is very expressive and has a purpose.
